MINISTRY OVERVIEW
The ministry is built around the scripture that reads: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as Eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.

MISSION: To fulfill the Christian doctrine through the gospel of Jesus Christ and service to the larger community that positively impacts social, economic, and environmental well-being
VISION: To serve the larger community and broaden the abundant life of the people of God through the infusion of the Word of God and his love toward the promotion of family unity, holistic healing, and service.

Eagles Wings Ministry was started through a joint vision of the late Pastor, Henry L. Blount Sr., and his wife, Pastor Lola Blount in 2004. This couple had the vision to build the spirit of people through teaching, preaching, and ministering the Word of God; and to empower people to build through community ministry and outreach.

To create spiritual, social, and economic opportunities that will assist and support individuals and families in becoming a strong stable force in the church, the community, and the world.

To strengthen the mental, emotional and physical needs of individuals through spiritual counseling and various support services (Value) which will allow people to come into a faith agreement that they live and not die and declare the works of the Lord.

To empower families throughout the community to utilize community services, mentoring and educational programs and, to make a positive impact on social, economic and environmental change
